The New York Jets have cast a "wide net" for their head coaching search. From the likes of interviews with Aaron Glenn to Matt Nagy to Rex Ryan, this coaching search has been a doozy. They've requested to interview over 15 candidates, and the list continues to increase every day. It all started with Ron Rivera and has grown to, thankfully, bigger heights.

On January 3, 2024, the New York Jets hosted former Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel at One Jets Drive as he interviewed for their open head coaching position. This interview shocked many because it was on such short notice, and Vrabel was expected to be the hottest candidate available during this offseason's coaching carousel. The former Titans Coach went 54-45 in six seasons with the team and made three playoff appearances.

On Tuesday morning, the stunning decision to fire Head Coach Robert Saleh was made after Sunday's disappointing loss to the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Jets defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will take over as the interim head coach.
