The 41-year-old QB has had quite the tenure with the New York Jets, and the 2023 Offseason Dream of a potential Super Bowl with the ex-Packers QB is now over. The new regime led by GM Darren Mougey and Head Coach Aaron Glenn met with Rodgers last week and told him about his future at One Jets Drive. Rodgers hasn't confirmed if he will return to football next season, but it likely won't be with the Jets. The Jets have officially hired Lions Defensive Coordinator Aaron Glenn as the team’s new head coach and Broncos Assistant General Manager Darren Mougey as the team’s new general manager. The introductory press conference will be later today at 1 pm and will have many eyes on it. It is a new day with lots on the line.

The New York Jets have cast a "wide net" for their head coaching search. From the likes of interviews with Aaron Glenn to Matt Nagy to Rex Ryan, this coaching search has been a doozy. They've requested to interview over 15 candidates, and the list continues to increase every day. It all started with Ron Rivera and has grown to, thankfully, bigger heights.

On January 3, 2024, the New York Jets hosted former Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel at One Jets Drive as he interviewed for their open head coaching position. This interview shocked many because it was on such short notice, and Vrabel was expected to be the hottest candidate available during this offseason's coaching carousel. We've had midseason coaching changes and firings, GM firings, leaked stories about ownership, and player drama, which could lead to them being on the way out. With all of this looming over Jets fans' heads, one game remained. It was a new game, a new year, and it was against the playoff-hopeful Miami Dolphins.

From Halloween to nearly Christmas week, the Jets have been on a four-game losing streak throughout November and early December. It wasn't enough to close out games even with emerging young talent like LT Olu Fashanu, EDGE Will McDonald IV, RB Braelon Allen, and RB Isaiah Davis.
