After one of the most highly anticipated Yankee season’s in recent memory, the Yankees find themselves in a crucial offseason looking to improve from their World Series collapse. It was the team’s first World Series appearance since 2009, and it ended with Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” playing while the Los Angeles celebrated a championship win at Yankees Stadium.

After an abysmal two-game road stretch in Los Angeles, the Yankees head back home to the Bronx with a 0-2 deficit. The Yanks find themself in desperate need of a win after a disappointing start to their first World Series in fifteen years. Was there ever a doubt? The Yankees take a 2-0 lead on the Guardians in the ALCS. Dominant wins by the Yankees in the Bronx. Lefty pitcher Carlos Rodon got his groove back and held it down with 6 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, and 9 Ks in game one to lead the Yanks to a 5-2 victory.
