thejosechannel’s Predictions for the 2025 MLB Season: Who takes the AL East? Will the Dodgers repeat? Is Ohtani MVP?
The MLB Offseason is officially over, and today is OPENING DAY! The game's landscape has changed, with marquee players going to crosstown rivals, the rich getting richer, and youth being the next step for upcoming franchises. Ultimately, the big question on the 2025 season is, will the Dodgers repeat, or will they be fought off by a formidable team on the come-up? And who will come out of the AL? Here are thejosechannel's predictions for the regular season, postseason, and award winners:
The Miracle Mets Have Done It Again, Off to the NLCS
The Miracle Mets HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! The gift that keeps on giving is the 2024 New York Mets. They've eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies from the postseason after winning the NLDS with a 3-1 series win.
Mets steal one on the Road, Drop Game Two… Onto Queens
If you are a Mets fan, you can’t be too mad. The Mets stole game one in poetic fashion. They went down early in game one due to a Kyle Schwarber home run and an early Phillies rally, but it was all okay. The Mets, like they have all postseason, came back late in the game and won it at the end.
OH MY, ALONSO! The Mets Advance to the NLDS Against Phillies.
Down 2, time is running out. Pete Alonso with two runners on, no problem. The Mets star took on the pressure and completed the comeback for the Mets. It looked bleak after the Mets gave up back-to-back solo HRs, 2-0. Yet, they stayed in the fight and proved the same ole' Mets stereotypes wrong.
