Tyler, The Creator drops a Banger, “Chromakopia” IS Out
I've been critical of Tyler, The Creator's work, but this album was a banger. After breaking his 2-year gap rule between albums, Tyler announced the release of his newest project, "Chromakopia," the week before it'd release. The anticipation built quickly and had everyone talking about it. Usually, new music releases on Friday, but up to par with Tyler's different decision-making, this one would be released on a Monday. Fans woke up and began their week with the album, and it was met with unanimous love. It included an experimental loud sound, with the rhythm of disaster and soul, whispering and screaming. It was full of everything. The project began with "St Chroma," one of the most destructive starts to an album I can remember. If you like classic music or "regular stuff", this ain't gonna cut it for you. It will overwhelm you; however, if you like the experimental rap and rock sound, this is the perfect song.
This album had hits, including the one most talked about, "Sticky," featuring a variety of artists like Sexyy Red, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne. I've been very critical of Tyler, The Creator, since I first heard of him. I was not a fan of his music and thought he was overrated. "Call Me If You Get Lost" did not move me, and I didn't think it was the album of the year that many said it was. It's funny because the night of its release, I opted to listen to the Ski Mask The Slump God mixtape that was released instead. My friends all went to listen to Tyler instead. However, I'm a man of my word and a man of ethics. This album was really good. Although it has some spots where you think this song did not need to be on this album. I'd give it a strong 7.5 out of a 10-point scale. My favorite songs were "St. Chroma" and "Judge Judy." This album has moved me so much I may attend the world tour. He will be touring with Paris, Texas, and Lil Yachty; although I'll be there for Paris, Texas, I'll give Tyler his props. Good album.
