Yankees GM Brian Cashman is in FULL PLAN B mode. Earlier today, the Yankees made a massive trade to acquire RP Devin Williams from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for SP Nestor Cortes Jr., INF Caleb Durbin and cash. The Yankees finally get bullpen relief and get one of the best in baseball.

Mets Owner Steve Cohen has FINALLY got his guy. The Mets have agreed to terms with free agent Juan Soto to a historic record-breaking contract for 15 years, $765M, with an annual value of $51M. It is the richest contract ever given to a player, beating Shohei Ohtani’s 10-year, $700M contract from last offseason. After a back-and-forth bidding war with primarily the New York Yankees, the Mets beat their crosstown rivals for the marquee free agent.

The MLB Offseason is underway, and the first big chip is off the block after Cy Young LHP Blake Snell signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, the big fish is still available to sign as 26-year-old OF Juan Soto has not yet signed with a team. The rumors have heated up, and with that comes fake reports of imminent deals being agreed upon. As of December 6th, OF Juan Soto is a free agent, and only he and his agent, Scott Boras, know his situation.

After one of the most highly anticipated Yankee season’s in recent memory, the Yankees find themselves in a crucial offseason looking to improve from their World Series collapse. It was the team’s first World Series appearance since 2009, and it ended with Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” playing while the Los Angeles celebrated a championship win at Yankees Stadium.

The 2024 season was a beacon of hope for Mets fans. After a disastrous 2023 season, and a disastrous beginning to the 2024 season, the Mets bounced back. They not only made a late playoff push, but went as far as the NLCS and were two wins away from a World Series appearance.

Roll the end credits. The Yankees 2024 campaign will end in a 4-1 World Series defeat to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series. The team melted down when the lights were bright. This season summed up the entire Aaron Boone-Brian Cashman tenure in one week: a very talented yet terribly flawed fundamental team that is poorly managed.

After an abysmal two-game road stretch in Los Angeles, the Yankees head back home to the Bronx with a 0-2 deficit. The Yanks find themself in desperate need of a win after a disappointing start to their first World Series in fifteen years. It has all stemmed from poor coaching and poor performances from many players, specifically the Yankees Captain, Aaron Judge.

THE EVIL EMPIRE IS BACK! The New York Yankees have booked their ticket to the franchise's 41st World Series appearance. After defeating the Cleveland Guardians, 4-1 in the ALCS, thanks to the Juan Soto go-ahead homerun. The Yankees will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.

The Cinderella Story ends in LA. The Mets were defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4-2, in the NLCS and will head back to Queens to regroup for this offseason.

Was there ever a doubt? The Yankees take a 2-0 lead on the Guardians in the ALCS. Dominant wins by the Yankees in the Bronx. Lefty pitcher Carlos Rodon got his groove back and held it down with 6 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, and 9 Ks in game one to lead the Yanks to a 5-2 victory.

The Mets continue to hang in there. In game one of the NLCS, it looked bleak for the Mets, a 9-0 blowout loss. It was not a pretty evening for fans. Mets pitcher Kodai Senga turned in 1.1 IP, 3 ER, 2 H, and 4 BB. It has not been the best postseason for Senga, who is still rehabbing from injuries.

The Miracle Mets HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! The gift that keeps on giving is the 2024 New York Mets. They've eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies from the postseason after winning the NLDS with a 3-1 series win.

An October win is a win. The Yankees pull out a close one against the Kansas City Royals in game one of the ALDS to give them a 1-0 series lead. Game One had five lead changes, which set a record for most in a baseball postseason game.

If you are a Mets fan, you can’t be too mad. The Mets stole game one in poetic fashion. They went down early in game one due to a Kyle Schwarber home run and an early Phillies rally, but it was all okay. The Mets, like they have all postseason, came back late in the game and won it at the end.

Down 2, time is running out. Pete Alonso with two runners on, no problem. The Mets star took on the pressure and completed the comeback for the Mets. It looked bleak after the Mets gave up back-to-back solo HRs, 2-0. Yet, they stayed in the fight and proved the same ole' Mets stereotypes wrong.

Since 2009, the New York Yankees have been to the playoffs ten times and have not been to a World Series since. The closest to a World Series was in 2017 when the Yankees came up short in seven games against the Houston Astros. The 2017 season was the Baby Bombers and Aaron Judge (should’ve been) MVP-like season. As well as the first year, sign stealing was used by Houston, as they went on to win the World Series...
